Mariner Chess Championship

The greatest unofficial chess tournament to take place at Aptos High.

Main Tournament - High stakes main competition.

Taking place soon with a combination of normal games and 4 player chess.

Party - Loads of fun variants with no stakes.

No stakes casual games with variants like Chaturaji, and other silly variants.

Requirements

You must currently be attending Aptos High School without major incidents on record.
You must have your own Chess.com account that only you use.
You must have realiable communication with MCCS staff.
You must have a publicly verifiable record of previously played games.
You must have returned a formally signed consent slip that allows us to record your games.
You must present valid ID, in the form of a bus pass, school ID card, etc.

Rules

Failure to proceed in being scanned and searched will result in punishment.

Use of electronic devices at any point other than those explicitly permitted will result in being disqualified.

Failure to show up will result in forfeiting.
